ALESSANDRO CAPONE born in Rome, July 25, 1955.
From 1969 to 1976 plays in various bands in Italy and abroad, associating MUSIC with PAINTING. Also involved in PUBLICITY and Marketing, PHOTOGRAPHY and DESIGN.

From 1977, dedicates himself to CINEMA and THEATER, penning numerous stories and screenplays as well as successfully bringing several theater pieces to the stage.
Screen debut as director in 1989 with "STREGHE" (Witch Story), a horror movie produced in the United States and distributed in Italy by Titanus Distribuzione.
He follows up in 1990 with "Les Secrets Professionels Du Docteur Apfelgluck", a French episode film in which he directs: "La Chandelle", with Thierry Lhermitte, Daniel Gelin, Alessandro Haber, Veronique Geneste and Ennio Fantastichini; a box office hit in France.
In 1992 he directs the TV series "EXTRA LARGE" for Silvio Berlusconi Communications, with Bud Spencer, six 90' episodes entirely lensed in Miami with an American Cast.
In the 93/94 theatrical season he achieves a major success with the direction of "UOMINI Sull'Orlo di Una Crisi di Nervi" (MEN On the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) written with Rosario Galli - by critical and public acclaim the "cause célèbre" of the recent theatrical seasons.
Shortly after, he directs the movie version which is released in February 1995 by MEDIASET; and then a TV version for RAIDUE in 1997.
He writes three episodes of the new Bud Spencer series: "NOI SIAMO ANGELI", (We Are Angels) which are broadcast starting February 1997 on RAIUNO.
He authors, together with Galli and directs the show: "C'e Modo e Modo" (There are Ways and Ways) with Stefano Masciarelli, a show that achieves considerable success.
December of 1995 he debuts with " I CAVALIERI della TAVOLA ROTONDA", (The Knights of the Round Table) a musical comedy written with Galli for his direction. The Cast includes Gianfranco D'Angelo, Stefano Masciarelli, Sabrina Salerno, Nadia Rinaldi, Adriano Pappalardo, Daniele Luttazzi, Tosca d'Aquino and many other top Italian names; score by Enrico Riccardi, choreography by Baayork Lee, sets designed by Sergio Canevari, costumes by Raul Settimelli.
The musical achieves a major success and is a box office hit throughout Italy, becoming a five week mainstay at Rome's Teatro SISTINA where it plays during the Christmas season and where it is included among the three titles of the "Biglietto d'Oro" (The Golden Ticket).
He has written three episodes for the series: "PHANTASMA PER CASO" (Accidental Ghost) starring Massimo Lopez, for MEDIASET.
He has supervised the lensing for RAIDUE of the show: "I PEGGIORI ANNI DELLA NOSTRA VITA" (The Worst Years of Our Life) by Enrico Vaime, starring Gianfranco D'Angelo.
He wrote and direct eight episode TV series: "TUTTI GLI UOMINI SONO UGUALI" (All Men are Equal) with Massimo Wertmuller, Enzo Decaro, Maurizio Crozza and Randi Ingerman, produced by ARAN for MEDIASET.
Alessandro Capone has lived at length in the United States, Spain, France, Brazil and Hong Kong. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Alessandro Capone has participated as scriptwriter on numerous other films in the years preceding 1986 ("Una Moglie, due Amici, Quattro Amanti", "TRHALM4", Gay Salome", "Brillantina Rock" etc.) bringing with him a wide range of experiences as set designer ("Voglia di Volare" "Cerdisa" - publicity - etc.) assistant director, production organizer (for Achille Manzotti) and Still Photographer.

In the publicity field he was the CEO of the company CDL International headquartered in Papeete, French Polynesia, where he handled campaigns for AIR NEW ZEALAND, Qantas, APPLE computers, Mobil, BMW, etc.

He has worked as fashion photographer in Hong Kong for numerous specialized magazines and in Italy as designer where he supervised the look of countless apparel outlets in Rome, Milan, Bologna and Florence as well as Fashion events.

In the Seventies he designed clothes for Kleptomania of Rome and Adam et Eve of Paris. In that same period he involved himself successfully as a "Horror and Fantasy" Comics and Poster creator.

As a painter he has participated in many exhibitions in Italy and Spain and he has obtained a recognition of merit from the Council of the Presidency. Furthermore as director he has realized several documentaries and TV ads.
